Wonderful story and art.
Love it! I have read this three times since launch and I caught more detail each time. It is sad how things can be misunderstood and blown out of proportion. It was heart-warming, with a mix of happy and sad at the end, there. Thank you for sharing the story in this way.
That was beautiful! Love the art, the story (great pace), and the very surprising ending! Thank you.
this was wonderful, dani and nicole! you’ve crafted a great story and characters here. what a perfect treat to start off october with!
I just loved everything about it. I am a fan now. Thanks for sharing the story so freely. I can totally see this as a hallowe’en animated special. Very original and charming. I definitely will want the hard copy!
Both of you have done a great job, congrats on this one! I absolutely love the story and the artwork. I’d love to buy a printed copy of this when available. Cheers!
Aww. That was a great story. Thank you for enriching my life.
Wow!
Amazed. Seriously. Such a good story… the end was, yes, a shocker. But I like that. Page 18 is a favorite, among a few others… cute, and sad, and funny, and cute again. Great character designs.
I’d love to see Frosty every year. A very good mascot!
Thank you for sharing– the both of you did a -genuinely- excellent and awesome job.
I do want to ask a technical question– I’m curious why you chose to post the whole thing, as opposed to just delivering parts every few days or weekly? I can see why you wouldn’t want to miss Halloween, and I ain’t complainin’ that you have it in it’s entirety (because sometimes I don’t like waiting week to week). But was there a technical aspect to uploading pages to the server, having to modify the whole html every update, or were you hoping to have the paperback selling/distributing before Halloween?
Thanks again!
Hi Jonathan. Our strategy to post FROSTY all at once instead of in installments was more of a creative decision than a technical one. We always envisioned the story as a standalone tale, something that really should be read all in one sitting, rather than a serial that is meant to draw you in episode after episode.
Wow. Consider the physical book ordered as soon as it goes on sale. Really, fantastic work.
WOW! Amazing story. Nice work!
Thanks for all the positive feedback, everyone! Dani and I really appreciate it.
What an amazing and moving story. Beautiful, both from a literary standpoint and visually.
I really liked your story and artwork. You both did an awesome job! I do have one question about Lily. Was she living all by herself? She seemed a little young to be taking care of herself.
My question isn’t meant to criticize; I am just curious about the little girl’s background. Thanks again for sharing your story with us, and I hope you collaborate on more projects for everyone to read.
Thanks Mikael. I would assume Lily lives in some kind of orphanage or foster home.
I can see great things in yours and your sister’s future! This is so great and original! Since graphic novels are so hot right now as well as the amazing art and story I’m sure you will have publisher’s lining up to publish this or make a movie, etc…if that’s even the route you want to go. You may just want to make all the fame and fortune yourselves!
Great inspiration for us artists so thank you!!
Hi Dani and Nicole,
I just came back for another visit and brought both my husband and daughter(24 yrs old) and they both had tears at the end and absolutely LOVED it! This says a lot coming from these two as they are both creative as well…he’s a musician and she’s an actor/musician. Just wanted to share!
Looking forward to hearing more news on this project!
Kindest Regards,
Phyllis
